Basildon & District Netball Association piloted a new scheme in August 2019, aimed at C Award umpires who may be looking to progress to the next level. Successful candidates are granted approval to officiate Premier and Division 1 games as the home team's umpire and are added to the league's list of "Approved Umpires". The programme consists of a course, followed by a practical assessment.

 

The course will cover: 

✅ - Game Management 

✅ - Positioning 

✅ - When to play advantage 

✅ - Match fitness 

✅ - Contact v contest
